You are very welcome.  I hope it did help.
If you look through the IC R2500 Yahoo Group postings you will find
other favorable reports about the Taiwan seller.
When I bought my Yaesu VX7, I did contact him if he can sell an
unblocked unit. His reply was yes, but he suggested that I look elsewhere
because his price was high.
