[ICOM] Driving 746PRO/w dynamic mic

Ed,

When I was working at Icom my concern using a Dynamic mic was the 
direct DC path. I was concerned about damage to the rig placing the 
+8 volt mic bias directly to ground through the mic.
I am not sure how many have had issues with that but i don't like to 
short anything. Just a thought. others here are likely using similar 
mics and can also provide answers.
