That wasn't the term that first came to mind when I was getting one of the
"affordable" interfaces to work with my old IC726 ;-)

(BTW that same flakey interface works FB with my 746PRO)

It's worth noting that the older Icoms, especially those using the UX14 seem
to be fussy about the interface used. The newer rigs seem to be quite happy
with them.
