[ICOM] AH-2B price

The base of the AH-2b is pretty robust. The base insulator is also. From
there on it gets kinda cheezy. There are a few chromed brackets and other
accessories for use depending on the installation. The brackets can be bent
by hand. I know - cause I straightened mine out after a 130 MPH ride down
the autobanh gave it a permanent kink. I built a better bracket myself
after that. It was a nice antenna for a very fast car - no coils etc. But
in retrospect, it wasn't worth the price. A good heavy-duty ball-mount and
a fiber-glass CB whip will do as well on the air.

Where the AH-2A/AH-3/4 really shine is when you stop. Throw 60ft of wire in
a tree, attach it to the antenna, and 160-10 with a respectable signal is
yours.

I had a folding bracket I made to support a 30 ft vertical for when I was
stopped. The antenna folded on to the top of the trailer for travel.
E-mail for details.
