If you're willing to do a little work on your 756PRO, a NEC
PS710B-1A-A solid state relay could be installed in the 756PRO instead
of the reed relay thats there.  It's good for 2.5A, and can switch
anything I can think of.  I've done it, and it works well.

And to diverge from the subject, I'm probably going to be dumping my
756PRO in favor of the new Elecraft K3.  

I want to thank ICOM for setting the purchase price for the
756PROIII's we used for N8S so high.  If it had been a good deal, I'd
have bought one and would now be kicking myself because I want a K3.
As it is, I'm not lumbered with the PROIII, and have a full-featured
K3 on order already.
