[ICOM] New 2650mah nimh AA batteries

Group ,  I purchased some of the new Energizer 2650mah nimh AA batteries for my AOR AR-8200MKIII-U 
handheld receiver. It is simular to the Icom IC-R20 handheld receiver. These larger capacity batteries are 
larger in diameter than 1800-2200mah batteries and have reached a point where they are fitting very tight 
and may damage the case. My receiver was having a problem with these oversize batteries and was shorting 
something at the terminals due to them fitting so tight. After installation I would have to remove and re 
install them before it would power up at times but if I squeezed the lower part of the case where the 
battery terminals meet the receivers battery contacts it would power up but would cut off after releasing 
pressure. I contacted AOR and they warned against using anything over 2200mah. The Icom IC-R20 is about 
the same size as the AOR AR-8200 series and these large capacity cells may pose a problem in the R20 also. 
The R20 was designed/produced later than the AR-8200 and Icom may have allowed for these newer higher
