The 751A is another radio that I have heard OM's saying that it puts the 7800 to shame. But most of all I

Yes, in fact I have heard several claims that an old Yaesu FT-102 will "blow
the doors off an IC-7800." To which my response was: "Strange, I saw a whole
bin of those things at our local electronics recycling firm a few days ago."
Funny how that ended the debate...
