I am in the process of assembling a band scope for my FT-1000D to simulate
the one on my PROII.
I acquired a SoftRock Lite Software Defined Radio with a center frequency of
8.25 MHz and am waiting for a crystal to move that to 8.215 MHz (the D's 2nd
if).
I have the SoftRock working and tapped into the 2nd if on the 'D and it does
provide a band scope but with the wrong center frequency. The crystal I am
waiting for should give me what I want.
Just Google on SoftRock and you will find a lot of information.
