Hi Randy,

Yes, in fact I have heard several claims that an old Yaesu FT-102 will "blow
the doors off an IC-7800." To which my response was: "Strange, I saw a whole
bin of those things at our local electronics recycling firm a few days ago."
Funny how that ended the debate...

Adam ,  Thanks for the link , Well its some peoples "Human Nature" to brag
on what one has put lots of money into and part of this bragging is putting
down other items that they dont have. Another "Human Nature" thing to some
people is to badmouth something that their budget will not allow them to
have. Those types of bad comments used to go with the IC-781 , IC-970 ,
4KL/PW-1 , etc but now Im hearing those types commenting on the 7800. You
know the type ,  "My old ### will talk circles around" and "I wouldnt pay
