Hi Larry,
Congratulations! You must feel so relieved. Time to celebrate!
Do all functions in your PW1 check out OK?
Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Thanks to all for your suggestions. I am happy to report that the PW-1 is
back on the air and working fine.
The diagnosis? Hoping to discover something amiss, I removed the cover again
and found that the flat ribbon cable connecting the PA1 board to the
Splitter unit had become unplugged. In fact a piece of packing tape that
folded the ribbon cable over and shortened it had peeled away from the
ribbon cable and may have stuck to the outer cabinet. When I hurriedly
removed the cabinet trying to minimize the effect of the water, I must have
popped the cable from its connector.
I consider myself to be a very lucky guy!
OK - so let's get ready for next weekend's SP DX RTTY contest. And what
frequency is the BS7H DXpedition on? ;-)
