I don't have the CT-17 CI-V level converter, but it will be worth getting it
to at least solve my problem. I did a quick Google search and found similar
CI-V that will interface with the IC-910H, one using a USB port.

search for "s meter lite" by w8wwv it puts a huge display on your
computer and it will even do a plot to help you track down your
noise!
If you have a ci-v box then it won't cost you a thing to try it!
