Hello all.

   Thank everyone for your responses.   I'd like to keep it small so I
can carry it in the laptop bag, but want full serial port operation.   I
also want to use my KAM for RTTY/AMTOR/ASCII modes, my IC-R2, and TK-981
902 radio radio, want to be able to program as I travel on the road.  It
looks like probably I'm better off going to a PCMCIA card, which would
also give me two ports.  My new machine only has one Card slot, so was
looking at USB (has 3 of 2.0 plugs).
