The Icom site and/or the marcucci site might have
a service manual for the 718.

A quick search pulled up this.

http://www.eserviceinfo.com/equipment_mfg/Icom_39.html

http://www.eserviceinfo.com/downloadsm/5123/Icom_IC-718.html

http://www.ham.dmz.ro/icom/ic-718.php

http://fileshare.eshop.bg/service_manual/datasheets_i_200.html

It doesn't say operator or maintenance, and I didn't try downloading. Hmmm
- might not even be in English... Not to worry - if you are working on
the processor you likely can't read anyway - or so says some - and the
pictures will just have to do. <grin>

I have ZERO experience with the 718, sorry and good luck. Hope it helps.

Mike.
