Mike, thank you for recognizing I am a cranky OF beyond help.  Maybe 65 qualifies as an OF, but not beyond help.

I have just heard too darn many people who sound absolutely horrible.  Amazingly, they turn off the processor and they become readable ..!  Don't bother telling them to run 6dB.  That does not work.  Knobs to the right you know.

In the 40+ years licensed, it was not until the solid state rigs started to include the processor that this problem has arisen.

IF and that is a big if, people would read Adam's data they might be surprised.  I have referred quite a few to Adam's site for info.  How many went, I have not clue.  But I do know that some never tried ... they still sound like crap.
