Hi Mike,

Good to hear from you again, and thanks for the kind comments. The article
to which I referred is based on an article by my old friend Dr Brian Austin
G0GSF (ex-ZS6BKW), who also developed the ZS6BKW wire antenna. Brian and I
go back to 1964; we both worked for Racal in South Africa, but at different
times.

Brian's statement: "Every watt on a man's back counts" is the key to the
benefits of compression in SSB transmitters. This is especially true of
low-power portable equipment.

Maxie is doing great. I trust your Danes are in good health.
