[ICOM] Sherwood Engineering test numbers

I would take what Rob Sherwood says to the bank.  He has arrived at 
measurements that precisely illuminate what you experience with a receiver.

Ever have a receiver that "just is able to copy a signal despite it's 
looking like a simple design"?  Take a look at Rob's benchmarks - he 
probably can show you that even though sensitivity has been lowered, dynamic 
range and overall selectivity has been heightened:  Something that "deaf" 
commercial radios could do compared to amateur "sensitive" receivers.

I would like Jan to give us a second opinion on the AM modulation on his new 
ICOM radio - have they fixed the problem ? :-)
