[ICOM] no transmit

That is correct. Even if you did not have a direct hit devices like the ICE
300-Series arrestors offer a complete, nearly perfect blocking/shunting
system for induced voltages. Whether produced by lightning (directly or
indirectly coupled), wind, rain, or snowfall I.C.E. arrestors are
continuously active, constantly draining transmission line center conductor
to ground. The result? Solid protection for station equipment and related
noise. Sorry for the interjection of some sales wording here, but as much as
I love Icom rigs, this device and devices like it by other manufactures are
a necessity unless you really like sending stuff to my state here in
Washington. When the technicians at Icom tell you the cause please believe
them. 73 Larry

Well, I fired up the old PRO II and tried to call a friend and OH NO, no
transmit. The receiver is fine. The rig switches from receive to transmit
on the display but there is absolutely no output. I tried a different power
supply with the same result. I also moved the coax jumper over to the 746
and everything was fine with the antenna system. Any ideas?
