[ICOM] External Heat Sink Fan For ICOM IC-706 MKII-G

I think I would just get a nice 12 volt muffin computer fan and face it to blow across the heat sink. That should keep it cool and it will run off your 12 supply. 
If you want to get fancy build up an external amp keying relay and route the fan power through it so when the radio keys the fan runs.

There are a few computer fans that move lots of air but they sound like a Hoover vacuum cleaner running. Those would be fine if the rig is in an different room.
