Sorry, my mistreak <grin>.  I wrote that at 5am, a little before I wake up. 
However the rest of my response is true.

It should be noted that I modified the receive antenna switching to clean up 
my transmitted signal, not to protect the receiver.

But the modified antenna switching does protects the receiver.
