[ICOM] Receive antenna input?

Hi Gary,

The IC-775 has RX ANT OUT and RX ANT IN RCA jacks which are normally bridged
with a coax jumper. When using a receive antenna, the jumper is pulled and
the receive antenna is connected to RX ANT IN.

RX ANT OUT is the receive side of the T/R relay; RX ANT IN is the
unprotected receive input of the RF Unit. Because of this, an external
protective device such as the Front-End Saver should always be connected
between the receive antenna and RX ANT IN.

I mentioned the Pro3 and 7800 for general interest.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ
