Hi Dave,
Here is the pinout for the OPC-118:
24-pin Molex Pin 3 (SEND) to 7-pin DIN Pin 3 (SEND)
24-pin Molex Pin 7 (ALC) to 7-pin DIN Pin 5 (ALC)
24-pin Molex Pin 8 (GND) to 7-pin DIN Pin 2 (GND)
24-pin Molex Pin 12 (8V BAND REF) to 7-pin DIN Pin 1 (8V)
24-pin Molex Pin 13 (BAND) to 7-pin DIN Pin 4 (8V)
Both plugs are male. The Molex plugs into the control socket on the IC-2KL,
and the 7-pin DIN plugs into ACC(2) on the exciter.
The two plugs should be interconnected with shielded cable; the shield
should be connected to the plug shells at both ends. A 1 metre length is
typical.
Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Bound to happen!
A friend of mine needs the adapter in order to use his new used IC2KL and
AT500 with his ProII.
It is no longer available.
Any source for the schematic of the adapter? The rest of the cabling is
easy. Certainly would save some time and brain strain building one. I'm
getting lazy in my declining years <g>.
I have checked the .jp site with no luck.
TIA
Dave, W5WP
