[ICOM] 746PRO Backlight

I have never heard that this is a problem.

Been an owner for a while and have never experienced the problem myself.

I have read post on the groups.yahoo thread of the 746 (non PRO) that the backlight on the display does fail over a period of time because a driver transistor getting too hot with brightness setting at below 50%.

I was wondering if this is a problem in the 746 PRO also?
