Hi Charles,

If you cannot locate an FL-44A, the Inrad 109 is a close cross.

I replaced the FL-96 with an FL-44A (and the FL-102 with an FL-223) in my
IC-781 (sold in 1998). The FL-44A tightened up the Twin PBT and greatly
improved adjacent-channel selectivity. The FL-223 provided a "Narrow SSB"
selection, activated by pressing the [WIDE] key.
