[ICOM] ic-2100h encoder EVQ-VENF01

Hello group,

I have a 2100H that has stopped changing frequency via
the dial. Stopped working after a real fast frequency
dial rotation/operation.. Could be the encoder is
having a problem. Couldnt find much details about this
part, except that its called EVQ-VENF01. Its got 4
pins, one is gnd, one NC, and two others go to the
microcontroller on the dial panel. Maybe each of these
pins give a gnd connection pulse or something for each
direction (cw/ccw)..

Any one knows how to test this device? I have
desoldered it and its outside the PCB.. And possibly
also sources to get a replacement if it cant be fixed,
and if its indeed the faulty point.

I think the 2800, v8000 and some other icom radios
also use the same encoder..
