I had to add my two cents worth regarding the stealth
antenna. I agree with Chris WB5ITT. Do you want an
antenna that works or one that is hidden? On six
meters, you have certain requirements for an antenna
to work where anyone will hear you. I took Chris's
advice a long time when I started on six meters and
used the Larsen or Motorola NMO150 because it works
so well on six meters and it is rather "Low Profile".
I have had great luck with it. I have since added
an M Squared HO Loop and a Daiwa Coax switch and I can
switch between horizontal and vertical while driving.
I admit it is not very stealthy, but then again, I
want an antenna that works. (It is shown under my
call on QRZ.com) If the gentleman wants a great
stalth antenna, I recommend a 50 ohm dummy load
behind the rear view mirror. No one will ever know.
