[ICOM] V8 vs. V82 vs. T2H

I am looking at getting one of the higher powered 2 meter HTs for mobile/portable/remote work, and have been looking at these 3 Icom ones.  The V82 has the highest power (7.1 watts), but also the highest pricetag.  I have no interest in the D-STAR digital voice mode. I am only considering it because of the 7 watts.  Would the extra 1 watt (vs. the T2H) or 1.5 watts (vs. the V8) really make much of a difference in coverage?  Anything other comments good or bad about these HTs?  I have had a T2H before and found it to be a pretty good HT, especially for the price.
