[ICOM] IC-7000 Questions?

Hi Guenter, thanks for the info, well I guess it is normal then. A friend of 
mine has one as well and he does not think his is too hot, although he does 
not have a way to measure the temp..
Maybe there will be a mod to run the fan at a low speed when in receive..

The IC7000 seems to be hotter than the 706.
The 700 heat sink is smaller and the fan of my 706 operated temporarily also

There is a temperature display in the graphic mode.
I found it always in the blue region, and when transmitting, the fan 
operrated
immediately.Also after transmitting a few minutes, the temp meter was not in
the red area. After ending transmission, the fan operates a while.

Nothing found in the manual.
Pressing he keypad numbers during transmit thanges the band (as for reveive)
That not a good solution !!
