[ICOM] 746pro sn# question

  Bought a new in the box 746PRO the rigs sn# is 0204624 even though the 
rig had never been used ,the seller did not know when it was purchased 
new. Can any one give me a hand with this sn#? Also the failure problem 
on tx.. Is this rig past the point when the factory started to make the 
production change on the tx problem?
