[ICOM] 756 vs PRO

I've used receivers that cost in the hundreds of thousands of dollars daily,
and then I used the ICOM IC-756PRO.
As far as selectivity is concerned the PRO is the winner. As far as
sensitivity on the ham bands - the PRO is the winner. (As far as
sensitivity on continous coverage in tuning from 2.000 MHz to 30.000 MHz the
PRO looses!) The PRO is good on SW bands but I can hear signals with my
"expensive" receiver that the PRO can't hear, while on the ham bands, I can
hear things with the PRO that are very difficult to hear on the expensive
radio.
There were clicking of adjacent signals in the PRO but I have heard this has
been eliminated with a modification and is no longer a problem in the later
PRO2 and 3.

I went from a 718 with filters to a 746PRO with DSP filters. I'll never go
back.
