Hit up the truck stops on the highway near your city. I needed some of the
CB "Zing Rings" for some work I was doing on Mobile MARS, needed to get a
Hustler resonator down to 3.2xx MHz. Adding 2 Zing Rings did it.
Eventually I designed my own rings, much more efficient.
You will be surprised at what your local Truck Stop CB shop stocks. And for
heavy DC power cord (the red and black stuff) try your local Auto-Stereo
shop. Noise reduction components too.
Course, we all KNOW our beloved ICOMs are never plagued with NOISE! <grin>
