There is no right answer - because a "PERFECT" radio does all your contacts
for you. Logs them too. Prints the QSLs and licks the stamps!
Since it operates on its own, you don't need to know what kind of operating
it does. It just does.
You check on it once a quarter to see if you have WAS and DXCC yet.
