[ICOM] TX troubles on IC 7000

Thanks Adam:

I joined too.

I would like to ask you about someone's previous post,
which really disturbed me.

I have been a loyal Icom user through the IC730, 729 and
now 756PRO. I have never had any trouble with *any* of
mine except the usual mods that EVERYONE does.

They are all solid as rocks IMHO.

Do you have a feel for why Icom would not make the change
without cost to the customers just after paying that much
for a radio like the 7000?

Or is it not quite a simple as it might seem as far as the
whole issue is concerned I mean? In other words is there
more to it than meets the eye on the surface?

Code may be taking a back seat for now,
but the pioneering spirit that put the code
there in the first place is out front of it all.
