[Norton AntiSpam] [ICOM] AMP for 756 PRO

Hi Bob,

If the amplifier's keying-line voltage exceeds 16V, or if its keying current
is greater than 0.5A, an auxiliary keying relay or buffer is required to
protect the reed relay in the IC-756Pro.

Cheers for now, 73,

Thanks Cliff:

I had heard with some amps the Icoms need a special relay or something.

I was considering the Ameritron AL-811 or the Heathkit 230.

Didn't know if there was any special consideration for these models or not
when it comes to a 756PRO.

I just don't want to be stuck with something I am going to have to modify
or make shift if you know what I mean.
:0)

Code may be taking a back seat for now,
but the pioneering spirit that put the code there in the first place is out
front of it all.
