I suggest you try the "icom classic" list.
I seem to remember that such a mod was
published back when certain states went
to 20 kHz repeater spacing. Mind you,
this is well over 20 years ago and my
forgetter works far better than my
rememberer!!!
If I recall, it wasn't really synthesized,
but used quite a few crystals in various
combinations to hit all the 30 kHz channels
from 146.010 through 147.990.

Made the mistake of attending a hamfest today!
An ICOM from the dawn of synthesizer history attached
itself to me. Before I tax my brain, has anyone
modified the synthesizer for 20 KHz spacing?
The rig appears to have good output (10 Watts)
and the receiver hears to spec.
