1. An amp does not know what radio is hooked to it. (exception: radio
specific amps)
2. A radio does not know what amp it is hooked to and doesn't care.
3. Most amps like appx 100w drive to develop max design power out.
4. Most amps are designed for 220/240v to operate most efficiently. While
120 can be used it limits the output power.
Before the flames start; these are generic rules for amps and radios. I
realize there are exceptions to any rule but these are basic guidelines.
