[ICOM] AT-500 question

Hi Al,
You will need to use a 2-position manual coax switch to route the 14
MHz-and-higher output of the AT-500 to your tribander for 20/15/10m, and to
the G5RV for 17/12m. The Icom band-selection voltage scheme groups 17m with
15m, and 12m with 10m; there is no way around this. Neither the transceiver,
nor the IC-2KL (if you have one), nor the AT-500 can differentiate between
17m and 15m, or between 12m and 10m band selections.
Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Subject: [ICOM] AT-500 question
Since the AT-500 tunes antennas for 17M with the 15M section and 12M with
the 10M section I have a question about using my triband beam and a G5RV.
Is there some way I can use the tuner for the 10-15-20M beam and the G5RV
for 12 & 17? I can put all the antenna inputs for 80-40-30 on one input and
the 20-15-10M inputs on another, of course, but what do I do about 17 & 12M?
Anyone got a suggestion?
