Do you have a local - or regional if HF - group that meets on AM?
I'm sure that most of us would like to see if ICOM has fixed the low
modulation on AM problem.

Well I took the plunge. I bought an IC-7000 at the Seaside Oregon
hamfest. Paid $1429.00 for it at the HRO booth.
I have been playing with it on CW and RTTY. Seems to work great! Even
have it working with Writelog. I changed the
rig address to the default address of the 756 PRO III. Set the rig to
756 PRO III in WriteLog and the baud rate to 9600.
Works just great!
I plan on using it for Field Day this next weekend.
