Forgot to add...

It does have the 8KHz (actually 8075 Hz) audio tone in the audio but
only on AM and FM WIDE both on the speaker (if your speaker can pass
this frequency) and in the headphones.

Anyone herd of a fix for this?

Thanks and 73

Well I took the plunge. I bought an IC-7000 at the Seaside Oregon
hamfest. Paid $1429.00 for it at the HRO booth.

I have been playing with it on CW and RTTY. Seems to work great! Even
have it working with Writelog. I changed the
rig address to the default address of the 756 PRO III. Set the rig to
756 PRO III in WriteLog and the baud rate to 9600.

Works just great!

I plan on using it for Field Day this next weekend.
