Hi Warren,

I had an IC-575A (10W, built-in mains PSU) from 1991 to 1993. I recall that
it had a very quiet receiver, largely thanks to its DDS synthesiser which
used the same chipset as the IC-781.

It is possible to reinstate PBT on the newer versions. More information is
available on the Icomclassic group.

Cheers for now, 73,

Subject: [ICOM] Icom X75 Series questions

Does anyone know the approximate production of the X75 series radios? In
terms of rarity, the 375 and 1275 should be the most rare, perhaps the 275
and 475 the most common, don't know where the 575 fits. Obviously the PBT
is on the older versions, also older logos. I own a 275H and 475H, well
pleased with them. I may want to add a 575 at some point, anyone have
comments on that rig?
