I have never encountered such a problem, UNLESS what he's talking about 
is dualwatch on another band.  It is true that you can't do dualwatch on 
two different bands with same results (two vfo's does not mean, as with 
the 7800, two SEPARATE receivers), because of filtering.  Dualwatch on 
20m should produce the same signal strength as 20m main band, but if 
dualwatch is on 40 and main is on 20, that won't be the case.  Jan
