[ICOM] IC-775DSP

Thank you for your honest reply:

Understand about the FT-1000 series I have not had one yet either, but have asked the same question of some who have and their
response has been in favor of the 775DSP also, so I am encouraged by that.

I have decided that fancy displays are not really what I want to pay for in a radio. So your reply means a lot to me. Especially
since I have owned a 756PRO (not PROII yet) and therefore your reply is very encouraging.

I told a guy once who I was trading radios with that I didn't have the original boxes, his reply was the same as mine on the fancy
displays.

"Never made a contact with a box before anyway"

I am about to become an owner of a "new to me" 775 SN around 01175, then I will have to find a DSP board for it and of course
associated filters, MODS ect.

So not to be off topic if you could email me off list any relevant info on any of the mods ect you might have that would be great.

This rig is virgin (no mods) which is the way I like them so I can do them myself and know they were done right.

But I think it will be worth the hunt once its all said and done.

Sounds like this one is a keeper for sure.

Thanks again.

Code may be taking a back seat for now,
but the pioneering spirit that put the code
there in the first place is out front of it all.
