I have the same problem---If I unkey the mike and key it up  
again---everything is fine--then a few minutes later the problem creeps back.  This happens to 
me on all bands ;-(
I have been reluctant to send it out for service because it's an  
intermittent. I'm hoping the thing just stops working ! At least then a tech can  find 
the problem.
