I would NOT be in ANY hurry to ship
the rig even after I received the M.O.
The bogus money order (or bank/cashier's/
certified check scam is well known.
Seller receives a "cashier's" or "certified"
check or money order. Seller cashes same
at his bank and ships the item. Weeks later,
the word comes that the check/m.o. is
counterfeit. Seller has now lost the item
and also has to replace the amount of the
"check" that bounced back into his own
bank account.

I recently "sold" my Icom 706MKII to a gentleman in Barbadoes. He mailed
the international MO last monday (June 26) and it hasn't showed up here yet.
That is almost 2 weeks now. How long does airmail from the Carribean
normally take? And if it is lost, how does one go about tracking a lost
piece of international mail?
I am selling this rig to upgrade, and want to get the money to get another
rig ASAP (although the 706MKII is a pretty good rig). Many of the upgrade
deals I was looking at have been sold by now. Guess ending up with a
706MKII isn't that bad.
