I operat my MK II G mobile and also lost my screw. Needless to say being screwless has not interfered with operation of the radio. Having said that can anyone tell me the specificatioins of the screw so I can get a new one.

Question: How many hams does it take to screw a MK II G cable?

Yep - it takes a real man to admit he lost a screw years ago!

Just because you are lucky doesn't mean it can't and don't happen to others.

Of course, you might be right.

A simple screw is too trivial. Too simple a possibility. Don't bother. It
must be something MUCH MORE difficult.
