Tony,

Despite the challenges I hope you're enjoying the PW-1.

Tony are you getting power from the Field 's13.8v jack or from one of the pins on the Field's accessory jack (don't recall which jack or pin)?  When I connected my Field to the PW-1 about a year ago I recall the PW-1 requires more current than the Field's 13.8v jack offered.  Believe you need to tap off one of the accessory jacks. I did that and it worked fine. The PW-1 manual states what current is required "power up" the PW-1 lamps, antenna selectors, and bands. Wish I could help more, but (a) I sold the Field, and (b) I sold the PW-1 to you know who.
