If you look at the exhaust tips ... I would bet they are floating.  I did this to my 2000 Grand Prix GT and made the noise go from S7 to S1 on the IIg.  It is worth the effort.  I also ran a brass strap from the exhaust tips to the ground points of the Predator Screwdriver.  All the difference in the world.
