Doug, the reason I mentioned exhaust pipe was you had not mentioned that you had grounded it in your previous message. For me I have found one quick fix was to ground the pipe in a couple of places and the noise vanished. In the sixties I had the hood grounded i remember and lots of other stuff with inch braid! <g> I was running a pair of Hustlers on the rear of the wagon.

How about grounding the exhaust pipe forward and aft of the muffler?
