[ICOM] 775 DXII S-meter lamp / cooling fan noise

Ed and others,
Last weekend I've done some more tests. The lamp flickers mostly on CW when
power output exceeds 50W, but it's also happening on AM/FM. For the moment,
to ged rid of this I simply increased a bit the brigthtness for the LOW
position and the problem is almost gone.
Unfortunately I've found another bad point in my IC 775, seems that the
cooling fan which starts with PTT (while transmiting) is not filtered enough
and makes some noise which can be heard on SSB... I was really surprised
when it appeared that after disconnecting the microphone the noise is still
there and can be easily noticed in local distance QSO.
Has anyone ever had this kind of problem?
