Concerning the replacement: I did the replacement job in less than 45 
minutes, using ordinary hand tools and common sense.
Keep the excellent article from Don Graham VK6HK at hand and you can save 
yourself the hassle and costs (and risks!) of sending the radio to a service 
center.
