[ICOM] IC -775DSP vs IC-756ProIII

Gents,

Thank you all for your suggestions and opinions regarding my question. 
Actually with all the variety of opinions I've got the result which I was 
supposed to get... Meaning, no clear answer was given, and there could not 
be any clear answer at all. Nevertheless all the information I have received 
is of great interest and it is highly appreciated.

Actually the whole story is about a back-up rig which also might be possibly 
used as a 2nd rig for an eventual SO2R contest operation. The basic rig is 
(and will be) the IC-775DSP with the anticipated roofing filter. As for the 
2nd rig, it looks like for the time being I will not rush it but will 
certainly buy a Pro III in a couple of months. First I'd like to find a 
PS-125 at a reasonable price (it costs fortune in Canada and dealers only 
sell them separately unlike in the USA). I used to have a brand new unused 
PS-85 on a dusty shelf but being in good mood made a good gift to a friend 
another day...

And BTW, as a temporary back-up rig solution I found a nice IC-761. It is on 
the mail right now and should hit my desk in a day or two.
